रुद्रप्रयाग: ज्वाल्पा पैलेस में आज उत्तराखंड बाल अधिकार संरक्षण आयोग एवं बाल विकास विभाग के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में बाल अधिकार एवं सुरक्षा विषय पर एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में बाल संरक्षण आयोग की अध्यक्ष डॉ. गीता खन्ना ने मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में प्रतिभाग किया, जबकि विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में आयोग के सचिव डॉ. शिव कुमार बरनवाल तथा अति विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में आयोग के अनु सचिव डॉ. एस.के. सिंह भी उपस्थित रहे।
कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत तीनों अतिथियों द्वारा दीप प्रज्वलन के साथ की गई। इस अवसर पर विभिन्न विद्यालयों से आए छात्र-छात्राओं ने सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत कर सभी का मन मोह लिया। कार्यक्रम में बच्चों से संवाद करते हुए बाल संरक्षण आयोग की आयोग की अध्यक्ष डॉ. गीता खन्ना ने भारतीय संविधान द्वारा प्रदत्त बाल अधिकारों की विस्तार से जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि यदि कोई बच्चा किसी प्रकार की परेशानी में हो या उसे किसी जानकारी की आवश्यकता हो, तो वह चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन नंबर 1098 पर कॉल करके सहायता प्राप्त कर सकता है।
आयोग हर संभव सहायता उपलब्ध कराने के लिए तत्पर रहता है। उन्होंने सोशल मीडिया के दुष्प्रभावों पर भी बच्चों को जागरूक करते हुए कहा कि उन्हें ‘इंटरपर्सनल रिलेशनशिप’ यानी आपसी संवाद और संबंधों को मजबूत करने पर विशेष ध्यान देना चाहिए। उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय किशोर स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम और राष्ट्रीय बाल्य कार्यक्रम के बारे में भी विस्तृत जानकारी प्रदान की।
इस अवसर पर बाल संरक्षण आयोग के सचिव डॉ. शिव कुमार बरनवाल ने भी छात्रों को बाल अधिकारों और बाल संरक्षण से जुड़े कानूनों के बारे में जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि इस प्रकार की कार्यशाला प्रदेश के प्रत्येक जनपद में आयोजित की जाएंगी, ताकि न केवल बच्चों बल्कि उनके अभिभावकों, शिक्षकों और स्कूल प्रबंधकों को भी जागरूक किया जा सके।
जिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी अखिलेश मिश्रा ने बताया कि समय-समय पर स्कूलों और कॉलेजों में ऐसी कार्यशालाओं का आयोजन किया जाता रहा है, जिनके माध्यम से बच्चों को उनके अधिकारों और उनसे जुड़े कानूनों की जानकारी दी जाती है। साथ ही विद्यालयों की नियमित मॉनिटरिंग भी की जाती है।
कार्यशाला में सहायक अभियोजन अधिकारी रश्मि पांडेय ने यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड (यूसीसी) के बारे में जानकारी दी और इसके लाभों को सभी के सामने स्पष्ट किया। वहीं, सहायक एआरटीओ कुलवंत सिंह चौहान ने सड़क सुरक्षा कानूनों के संबंध में बच्चों और शिक्षकों को जागरूक किया। मंच संचालन किशन सिंह रावत द्वारा किया गया।
