शारदा रिवर फ्रंट से बदलेगी चम्पावत की तस्वीर, टनकपुर में ₹300 करोड़ से अधिक योजनाओं का शिलान्यास…

चम्पावत, 07 फरवरी 2026। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने जनपद चम्पावत के समग्र विकास को नई गति देते हुए ₹300 करोड़ से अधिक लागत की अनेक महत्वपूर्ण योजनाओं का शिलान्यास एवं भूमि पूजन किया। उन्होंने कहा कि शारदा रिवर फ्रंट (शारदा कॉरिडोर) परियोजना क्षेत्र के विकास का मजबूत आधार बनेगी और टनकपुर को पर्यटन, आस्था तथा आधुनिक सुविधाओं के मानचित्र पर नई पहचान दिलाएगी।

मुख्यमंत्री ने शारदा घाट पुनर्विकास, सिटी ड्रेनेज प्लान, डिजास्टर रेजिलिएन्स के लिए इकोलॉजिकल कॉरिडोर, विभिन्न मोटर मार्गों के निर्माण व सुधारीकरण, बाढ़ सुरक्षा कार्य, हेलीपैड निर्माण, महाविद्यालयों में परीक्षा हॉल, विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में पुस्तकालय व मिनी स्टेडियम, छात्रावास विस्तार तथा होमगार्ड कार्यालय भवन जैसे अनेक कार्यों की आधारशिला रखी।

उन्होंने कहा कि इन योजनाओं से शिक्षा, सड़क, पर्यटन, आपदा प्रबंधन और शहरी आधारभूत संरचना मजबूत होगी। सीमांत क्षेत्र में रोजगार के अवसर बढ़ेंगे और स्थानीय अर्थव्यवस्था को नई ताकत मिलेगी। युवाओं, किसानों, विद्यार्थियों और पर्यटकों को इसका सीधा लाभ मिलेगा।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री धामी ने कहा कि चम्पावत आस्था, संस्कृति और इतिहास से समृद्ध भूमि है। माँ शारदा ज्ञान, विद्या और संस्कार की प्रतीक हैं और उनके पावन धाम के घाटों का विकास करना सौभाग्य की बात है। उन्होंने कहा कि टनकपुर की धरती पर उन्हें विशेष ऊर्जा का अनुभव होता है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने विकास और सांस्कृतिक विरासत के संतुलन पर जोर देते हुए कहा कि इसी से उत्तराखण्ड की पहचान और मजबूत होगी तथा चम्पावत आने वाले समय में आत्मनिर्भर और आदर्श जनपद के रूप में स्थापित होगा। उन्होंने नागरिकों से जनभागीदारी बढ़ाने और सांस्कृतिक संरक्षण के संकल्प को मजबूत करने का आह्वान किया।
