मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने रविवार को हरिद्वार पहुँचकर वात्सलय गंगा आश्रय का लोकार्पण किया तथा श्री कृष्ण कथा में प्रतिभाग करते हुए साधु सन्तों का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने माँ गंगा की आराधना कर समस्त प्रदेशवासियों के सुख-समृद्धि की भी प्रार्थना की।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि साध्वी ऋतम्भरा द्वारा जो प्रकल्प चलाए जा रहे हैं, उनके बारे में जितना कहा जाए उतना ही कम है। उनके के नेतृत्व में निराश्रित बेटियों को नव जीवन देने का जो दिव्य कार्य हो रहा है, वह समाज में आशा, करुणा और पुनर्निर्माण का सशक्त प्रतीक है। उनके संकल्प से अनेक बेटियों का जीवन सकारात्मक दिशा में परिवर्तित हुआ है। यह वास्तव में समाजसेवा की प्रेरणादायी मिसाल है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के मार्गदर्शन से देवभूमि उत्तराखंड में अनेक प्रकार के विकास कार्य हो रहे हैं जिसमें समान नागरिक संहिता प्रमुुख है, देवभूमि उत्तराखण्ड से जैसे मां गंगा निकलती है और यहां से निकलकर पूरे देश को जल और जीवन देने का काम करती हैं इस प्रकार समान नागरिक संहिता की यह गंगोत्री उत्तराखंड से निकली है और आगे आने वाले समय में पूरे देश को इसका लाभ मिलने वाला है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री मोदी के नेतृत्व में पूरे देश में धार्मिक पुनरुत्थान का महा पर्व चल रहा है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के मार्गदर्शन में भव्य और दिव्य केदार का निर्माण हुआ है। हरिद्वार-ऋषिकेश गंगा कॉरिडोर और शारदा कोरिडोर का कार्य किया जा रहा हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि अभी चार धाम यात्रा चल रही है, चार धाम यात्रा का इस वर्ष अभी तक लगभग 18 लाख श्रद्धालुओं ने दर्शन कर लिए हैं। बहुत अच्छी तरीके से यात्रा चल रही है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि दिल्ली -देहरादून एलीवेटेड रोड का निर्माण पूरा होने वाला है । यह काम पूरा होते ही यह दूरी लगभग दो से ढाई घंटे में पूरी हो जाएगी।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में सनातन संस्कृति के संरक्षण और संवर्धन के लिए उत्तराखंड सरकार कृत संकल्पित है। प्रदेश के मूल स्वरूप को बनाए रखने के लिए लैंड जिहाद, लव जिहाद और थूक जिहाद जैसी विकृत मानसिकताओं के खिलाफ सख्त कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि देवभूमि का जो मूल अस्तित्व है, वह बचा रहना चाहिए।

दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी द्वारा प्रदेश में सराहनीय कार्य किए जा रहे हैं, यह दिल्ली के लिए प्रेरणा है। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड देवभूमि है और धामी जी पूरे देश के लिए प्रेरणा हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि जो भी अच्छी योजनाएं मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी लायेंगे वह दिल्ली में भी जायेंगी। उन्होंने कहा कि मां यमुना स्वच्छ हो, मां गंगा जी के चरणों में आकर अपने इस प्रण को पुनः दोहराया।
