देहरादून, 10 जुलाई। देहरादून शहर में बढ़ते यातायात दबाव और पार्किंग की समस्या के स्थायी समाधान के लिए जिलाधिकारी डॉ. आशीष चौहान ने अधिकारियों को माइक्रो लेवल मोबिलिटी प्लान तैयार कर कार्यों में तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए हैं। शुक्रवार को आयोजित समीक्षा बैठक में उन्होंने कहा कि शहर की यातायात व्यवस्था को सुगम, सुरक्षित और व्यवस्थित बनाने के लिए सभी विभाग आपसी समन्वय से समयबद्ध तरीके से कार्य करें।
बैठक में आढ़त बाजार क्षेत्र की यातायात व्यवस्था, प्रमुख चौराहों के जंक्शन सुधार, इंदिरा मार्केट पुनर्विकास, मंडी शिफ्टिंग, परेड ग्राउंड और रामराय पार्किंग सहित विभिन्न परियोजनाओं की प्रगति की समीक्षा की गई। डीएम ने लोक निर्माण विभाग को प्रमुख चौराहों के सुधारीकरण एवं सौंदर्यीकरण की कार्ययोजना बनाकर जल्द काम पूरा करने के निर्देश दिए।
इंदिरा मार्केट में निर्माणाधीन 1050 वाहनों की क्षमता वाली मल्टीलेवल पार्किंग की धीमी प्रगति पर जिलाधिकारी ने नाराजगी जताई। उन्होंने एमडीडीए को कार्यदायी संस्था के साथ बैठक कर विस्तृत प्रगति रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करने और निर्माण कार्य में तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए। साथ ही पार्किंग स्थलों के बेहतर उपयोग के लिए नियमित मॉनिटरिंग व्यवस्था विकसित करने को कहा।
नेशनल क्लीन एयर प्रोग्राम के तहत डीएम ने पुलिस और नगर निगम को यातायात प्रबंधन, प्रदूषण नियंत्रण, बेहतर पार्किंग व्यवस्था और सार्वजनिक सुविधाओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए प्रभावी कार्ययोजना तैयार करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि मंडी शिफ्टिंग, आढ़त बाजार सड़क सुधार तथा अन्य लंबित परियोजनाओं को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर शीघ्र पूरा किया जाए, ताकि देहरादून की यातायात व्यवस्था आधुनिक, व्यवस्थित और जनसुविधा केंद्रित बन सके।
