उत्तरकाशी जिले में जखोल-फिताड़ी मोटर मार्ग पर एक भीषण सड़क हादसा हुआ है। इस हादसे में दो लोगों की मौत हो गई है, जबकि तीन अन्य गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए हैं।
हादसे के बारे में मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, शनिवार दोपहर करीब ढाई बजे एक यूटिलिटी वाहन जखोल से सामान और सवारियां लेकर फिताड़ी जा रहा था। धारा गांव के पास खेड़ा घाटी में वाहन अनियंत्रित होकर करीब 100 मीटर गहरी खाई में गिर गया।
हादसे में फिताड़ी निवासी वीरपाल (46) की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। वहीं, गंभीर रूप से घायल वन आरक्षी महादेव चौहान (21) ने सीएचसी मोरी ले जाते समय दम तोड़ दिया।
हादसे में देवीलाल (28), राजू (37) और सूरत सिंह (48) गंभीर रूप से घायल हुए हैं। इन सभी को प्राथमिक उपचार के लिए सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र मोरी में भर्ती कराया गया है।
