मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य में उत्तराखण्ड फिल्म नीति-2024 बनाई गई है। हिन्दी एवं संविधान की 8वीं अनुसूची में शामिल भाषाओं की फिल्मों को अनुदान राशि राज्य में व्यय कुल धनराशि का 30 प्रतिशत या अधिकतम 03 करोड़ का अनुदान दिया जा रहा है। विदेशी फिल्मों और 50 करोड़ से अधिक बजट की फिल्मों पर राज्य में व्यय राशि का 30 प्रतिशत या अधिकतम 03 करोड़ तक का अनुदान दिया जा रहा है।
