शैक्षणिक स्तर पर आयोजित राष्ट्रीय हेमटोलॉजी क्विज में एम्स ऋषिकेश ने खिताब अपने नाम दर्ज कराकर गौरव हासिल किया है। संस्थान की कार्यकारी निदेशक और डीन एकेडेमिक ने प्रतिभागी टीम को बधाई देते हुए इस उपलब्धि को संस्थान की अकादमिक उत्कृष्टता बताया।

एम्स ऋषिकेश के पैथोलॉजी और मेडिसिन विभागों के स्नातकोत्तर रेजिडेंट्स की एक टीम ने हाल ही में 9 नवम्बर को यह प्रतियोगिता जीती है। इंडियन सोसाइटी ऑफ हेमटोलॉजी एंड ब्लड ट्रांसफ्यूजन (आई.एस.एच.बी.टी) के 66वें वार्षिक सम्मेलन के दौरान यह प्रतियोगिता लखनऊ में आयोजित की गयी थी। इस 17वीं राष्ट्रीय हेमटोलॉजी क्विज प्रतियोगिता में एम्स ऋषिकेश सहित राज्य स्तर पर विजयी होकर आए देश भर के मेडिकल काॅलेजों की टीमों ने प्रतिभाग किया था।
उल्लेखनीय है कि यह प्रतियोगिता काॅलेज स्तर पर 4 जुलाई 2025 को जनरल मेडिसिन, पैथोलॉजी और बाल रोग विभागों के प्रतिभागियों के मध्य संपन्न हुई थी। अगली कड़ी में 8 अगस्त को क्षेत्रीय स्तर पर इस प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन होने पर एम्स ऋषिकेश इसमें चैंपियन बनकर उभरा था और 17 सितंबर को पीजीआई चंडीगढ़ में आयोजित नॉर्थ जोन प्रतियोगिता के फाइनल में एम्स ऋषिकेश, पीजीआईएमईआर चंडीगढ़,एम्स बठिंडा, एमएमआईएसआर सोलन और एसकेआईएमएस श्रीनगर की टीमें प्रतिस्पर्धा में शामिल हुई थी। जबकि हाल ही में 9 नवंबर, 2025 को लखनऊ में आयोजित एक रोमांचक फाइनल में एलएचएमसी नई दिल्ली (मध्य क्षेत्र), जेआईपीएमईआर, पुडुचेरी (दक्षिण क्षेत्र), जीएमसी हैदराबाद (पश्चिम क्षेत्र) और एससीबी, कटक (पूर्वी क्षेत्र) व नाॅर्थ जोन की कुल 205 टीमों के साथ प्रतिस्पर्धा करते हुए एम्स ऋषिकेश की टीम ने यह राष्ट्रीय खिताब जीतने में कामयाबी पायी। कार्यक्रम के दौरान आईएसएचबीटी के अध्यक्ष ब्रिगेडियर डॉ. तथागत चटर्जी और इंडियन कॉलेज ऑफ हेमेटोलॉजी के सचिव प्रो. आर.के. जेना ने विजेताओं को प्रमाण पत्र देकर नकद पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया।

जानकारी देते हुए संस्थान की डीन एकेडेमिक प्रो. जया चतुर्वेदी ने बताया कि लखनऊ में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रतियोगिता के फाइनल में एम्स ऋषिकेश की टीम विजेता रही। उन्होंने बताया कि क्विज की स्टेट कॉर्डिनेटर एम्स ऋषिकेश पैथोलॉजी विभाग की एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर डॉ. प्रियवधना थी। विजेता टीम में पैथोलाॅजी विभाग के तृतीय वर्ष के जूनियर रेजिडेंट्स डॉ. एर्ना अहसन और डॉ. गायत्री तथा मेडिसिन विभाग के द्वितीय वर्ष के जेआर डॉ. बिक्की दत्ता शामिल हैं। इस सफलता पर संस्थान के उच्चाधिकारियों सहित पैथोलॉजी विभाग के हेड प्रो. संजीव किशोर, जनरल मेडिसिन विभाग के हेड प्रो. रविकांत, डॉ. वेंकटेश पाई और डॉ. हरीश चंद्रा आदि फेकल्टी सदस्यों ने विजेता टीम को बधाई दी। संस्थान की कार्यकारी निदेशक प्रो. मीनू सिंह ने इस उपलब्धि को अकादमिक उत्कृष्टता से जोड़ा और टीम को बधाई देते हुए इसे अनुसंधान और नवाचार के प्रति संस्थान की दृढ़ प्रतिबद्धता बताया।
