उत्तराखण्ड राज्य स्थापना के रजत जयंती उत्सव के मुख्य समारोह में आज देहरादून पहुंचे प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी ने लगभग ₹8,260 करोड़ की विकास परियोजनाओं का शिलान्यास और लोकार्पण किया। उन्होंने उत्तराखण्ड की गत 25 वर्षों की उपलब्धियों की सराहना करते हुए, अगले 25 वर्षो के लिए रोडमैप के साथ आगे बढ़ने हेतु प्रेरित किया।

FRI परिसर में आयोजित समारोह में प्रधानमंत्री जी ने गढ़वाली–कुमांऊनी में प्रदेशवासियों को राज्य स्थापना दिवस की बधाई देते हुए कहा कि नौ नवंबर का दिन उत्तराखण्डवासियों की लंबी तपस्या का फल है। ये दिन प्रत्येक उत्तराखण्डवासी को गर्व का अहसास कराता है। प्रधानमंत्री ने राज्य आंदोलन के शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि देने के साथ ही, सभी आंदोलनकारियों को भी नमन किया।

प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि 25 साल पहले केंद्र में अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी सरकार ने जिन उम्मीदों एवं आकांक्षाओं के साथ उत्तराखण्ड राज्य का निर्माण किया, आज वो सभी सपने पूरे हो रहे हैं। प्रधानमंत्री ने उत्तराखण्ड से अपने लगाव को व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि, जब वो अपनी आध्यात्मिक यात्रा पर यहां आते थे तो पहाड़ों पर रहने वाले भाई -बहनों का संघर्ष और परिश्रम उन्हें प्रेरित करता था, यहां बिताए दिनों ने उन्हें उत्तराखण्ड के सामर्थ्य से परिचय कराया। इसी भरोसे के साथ उन्होंने बाबा केदार के दर्शन के बाद कहा था कि ये दशक उत्तराखण्ड का होगा। अब उनका ये भरोसा और भी दृढ़ हो गया है कि इस वक्त उत्तराखण्ड के उत्कर्ष का कालखण्ड चल रहा है।

प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि 25 साल पहले, जब नया- नया उत्तराखण्ड बना था तो उस वक्त कई चुनौतियां थीं, राज्य के संसाधन सीमित थे, बजट भी छोटा था, आय के स्रोत भी कम थे। तब ज्यादातर जरूरतें केंद्रीय सहायता से पूरी होती थीं। लेकिन आज, तस्वीर पूरी तरह से बदली हुई है। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि 25 साल पहले उत्तराखण्ड का बजट सिर्फ चार हजार करोड़ रुपए था, जो आज बढ़कर एक लाख करोड़ के पार चला गया है। 25 साल में राज्य का बिजली उत्पादन, चार गुना बढ़ा और सड़कों की लंबाई दोगुनी हुई है।

प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य गठन के समय छह महीने में चार हजार यात्री ही हवाई सेवाओं का इस्तेमाल कर पाते थे, आज यहां अकेले एक दिन में चार हजार से अधिक यात्री हवाई सेवाओं का लाभ ले रहे हैं। इन 25 वर्षों में इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेजों की संख्या 10 से ज्यादा बढ़ी है। तब राज्य में एक मेडिकल कॉलेज था, जो आज 10 हो चुके हैं। 25 साल पहले राज्य का वैक्सीन कवरेज 25 प्रतिशत भी नहीं था, आज हर गांव वैक्सीन कवरेज के दायरे में है।

प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड ने गत 25 वर्षों में विकास की लंबी यात्रा तय की है, लेकिन अब राज्य को अगले 25 वर्ष का रोडमैप तय करना है। इसके लिए राज्य को जहां चाह – वहां राह के मूलमंत्र को अपनाना होगा। इसलिए अपने लक्ष्यों पर चर्चा के लिए नौ नवंबर से बेहतर दिन और क्या होगा।

प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड अब फिल्म डेस्टिनेशन बन चुका है, राज्य की नई फिल्म नीति से यहां शूटिंग आसान हो गई है। इसी तरह उत्तराखण्ड वेडिंग डेस्टिनेशन के रूप में विकसित हो रहा है। वेड इन इंडिया मुहिम का लाभ उठाने के लिए उत्तराखण्ड को आलीशान सुविधाओं के साथ कुछ डेस्टिनेशन विकसित करने होंगे।
