उत्तरकाशी: जिलाधिकारी प्रशांत आर्य के निर्देश पर दीपावली पर्व को ध्यान में रखते हुए खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं औषधि प्रशासन विभाग ने मिलावटखोरी पर लगाम कसने के उद्देश्य से सघन निरीक्षण अभियान चलाया। विभाग की टीम ने गंगौरी बाजार से लेकर भटवाड़ी बाजार तक विभिन्न खाद्य प्रतिष्ठानों का निरीक्षण किया।
जानकारी देते हुए सहायक आयुक्त खाद्य संरक्षा अश्वनी सिंह ने बताया कि त्योहारी सीजन को देखते हुए आज टीम द्वारा जनरल स्टोर,मिठाई की दुकानें और अन्य खाद्य विक्रेता दुकानों का निरीक्षण किया गया। टीम ने कुल पाँच खाद्य पदार्थों के नमूने एकत्रित किए। जिसमें दो नमूने घी के, एक मिठाई का,एक माउथ फ्रेशनर का और एक लड्डू का नमूना लिया गया। तथा सभी नमूनों को परीक्षण के लिए प्रयोगशाला भेजा गया है।
सहायक आयुक्त ने बताया कि अभियान के दौरान दो खाद्य विक्रेताओं को एक्सपायरी तिथि के खाद्य पदार्थ बेचते हुए पकड़ा गया। दोनों के खिलाफ खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम की धारा 58 के अंतर्गत चालान किया गया है। खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिकारी ने कहा कि दीपावली पर्व पर आम जनता को शुद्ध एवं सुरक्षित खाद्य सामग्री उपलब्ध कराना प्राथमिकता है। विभाग द्वारा यह अभियान आगामी दिनों में भी निरंतर जारी रहेगा।
