देहरादून, 19 मार्च। उत्तरांचल यूनिवर्सिटी में गुरुवार को किसान मेला एवं कृषि औद्योगिक प्रदर्शनी का भव्य शुभारंभ हुआ। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में प्रदेश के कृषि मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने शिरकत की। उन्होंने दीप प्रज्वलित कर कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन किया और मृदा स्वास्थ्य पत्रिका का विमोचन करते हुए प्रगतिशील किसानों को उनके उत्कृष्ट कार्यों के लिए सम्मानित किया।
इस दौरान कृषि मंत्री ने मेले में लगी विभिन्न कृषि प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन भी किया और आधुनिक तकनीकों से जुड़े स्टॉलों की जानकारी ली। उन्होंने आयोजन के लिए विश्वविद्यालय प्रबंधन को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि कृषि देश की अर्थव्यवस्था की रीढ़ है और किसान इसकी मजबूती का आधार हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि शैक्षणिक संस्थानों की जिम्मेदारी है कि वे अनुसंधान, नवाचार और तकनीकी ज्ञान के माध्यम से कृषि क्षेत्र को नई दिशा दें। विकसित कृषि संकल्प अभियान का उल्लेख करते हुए उन्होंने बताया कि वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा खेतों तक पहुंचकर किसानों को आधुनिक तकनीक, उन्नत बीज और उर्वरकों की जानकारी दी जा रही है।
मंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार कृषि क्षेत्र को सशक्त बनाने के लिए आधुनिक तकनीकों और सतत कृषि पद्धतियों को बढ़ावा दे रही है। पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में परंपरागत कृषि विकास योजना के तहत जैविक और प्राकृतिक खेती को प्रोत्साहित किया जा रहा है। साथ ही मंडुवा और झंगोरा जैसे मोटे अनाज (मिलेट्स) के उत्पादन को बढ़ाकर किसानों की आय बढ़ाने पर विशेष जोर दिया जा रहा है।
उन्होंने बताया कि ड्रोन आधारित फसल निगरानी, मृदा स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण और डिजिटल परामर्श सेवाओं के जरिए किसानों को वैज्ञानिक जानकारी उपलब्ध कराई जा रही है। इसके अलावा पॉलीहाउस और ग्रीनहाउस जैसी संरक्षित खेती को बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है, जिससे प्रतिकूल मौसम में भी बेहतर उत्पादन संभव हो सके। प्रधानमंत्री कृषि सिंचाई योजना के तहत ड्रिप और स्प्रिंकलर प्रणाली अपनाने के लिए भी किसानों को प्रोत्साहित किया जा रहा है।
कृषि मंत्री ने कहा कि किसानों की आय बढ़ाने के लिए मूल्य संवर्धन और खाद्य प्रसंस्करण पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जा रहा है। पीएमएफएमई योजना के तहत छोटे प्रसंस्करण इकाइयों को बढ़ावा मिल रहा है, जबकि किसान उत्पादक संगठनों के माध्यम से किसानों को बेहतर बाजार और उचित मूल्य दिलाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है।
उन्होंने कहा कि इस प्रकार के मेले किसानों, वैज्ञानिकों, विद्यार्थियों और उद्यमियों के बीच संवाद का सशक्त मंच होते हैं, जहां नई तकनीकों का आदान-प्रदान होता है और कृषि क्षेत्र को नई दिशा मिलती है।
