मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि गेहूं खरीद पर प्रति क्विंटल 20 रुपये का बोनस, गन्ने के दामों में 30 रुपये प्रति क्विंटल की वृद्धि, नई सेब नीति, कीवी नीति, स्टेट मिलेट मिशन और ड्रैगन फ्रूट नीति जैसी योजनाएं राज्य में कृषि और बागवानी को नई ऊंचाइयों तक ले जा रही हैं। इसके साथ ही ‘महक क्रांति’ के माध्यम से सुगंध फसलों की खेती को बढ़ावा देकर हजारों किसानों को प्रत्यक्ष लाभ पहुंचाया जा रहा है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि ‘हाउस ऑफ हिमालयाज’ ब्रांड के माध्यम से राज्य के स्थानीय कृषि उत्पादों को राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पहचान दिलाने का कार्य किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि इन सभी प्रयासों से उत्तराखंड कृषि क्षेत्र में आत्मनिर्भर बनेगा और किसानों की समृद्धि सुनिश्चित होगी।
