जिला प्रशासन देहरादून की रायफल क्लब फंड से जरूरतमंदों को नई उम्मीद मिली है। जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल ने सोमवार को छह असहाय, अक्षम और निर्धन व्यक्तियों को कुल 1.50 लाख रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता के चेक प्रदान किए। प्रत्येक लाभार्थी को 25-25 हजार रुपये की सहायता दी गई।

डीएम ने बताया कि रायफल क्लब एक लग्जरी ट्रांजेक्शन फंड है, जिसका अब उपयोग सीएसआर गतिविधियों और जनकल्याण के कार्यों के लिए किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि पहली बार इस फंड से गरीब, असहाय और निर्बलों को राहत प्रदान की जा रही है।

जिलाधिकारी ने बताया कि इस पहल के तहत अब तक 12.55 लाख रुपये की सहायता राशि जरूरतमंदों तक पहुंचाई जा चुकी है। उन्होंने इस कार्य में लगे ग्राउंड स्टाफ और अधिकारियों की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि प्रशासन का लक्ष्य समाज के वंचित वर्ग को मुख्यधारा से जोड़ना है।
