देहरादून: जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल की पहल पर जिले में प्रथम बार जनपद के सभी कॉप्स (Common Service Points) को आधुनिक और हाईटेक बनाने की दिशा में ठोस कदम उठाए गए हैं। इसी क्रम में जिलाधिकारी द्वारा प्रत्येक कॉप्स को कंप्यूटर, प्रिंटर एवं अन्य आवश्यक उपकरण वितरित किए गए।
इस अवसर पर जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि “डिजिटल इंडिया कार्यक्रम के तहत कॉप्स को आधुनिक तकनीक से सुसज्जित करना आवश्यक है, ताकि आमजन को शासन-प्रशासन से जुड़ी सेवाओं के लिए असुविधा न हो और उन्हें समयबद्ध एवं गुणवत्तापूर्ण सेवाएँ उपलब्ध हो सकें।”
उन्होंने बताया कि अब कॉप्स के माध्यम से प्रमाण पत्र, विभिन्न प्रकार के आवेदन पत्र, राजस्व संबंधी सेवाएँ एवं अन्य शासकीय सेवाएँ और भी सुगमता से प्राप्त की जा सकेंगी। इससे ग्रामीण एवं शहरी दोनों क्षेत्रों के नागरिकों को सुविधा होगी तथा अनावश्यक रूप से कार्यालयों के चक्कर लगाने से भी राहत मिलेगी।
जिलाधिकारी ने अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया कि कॉप्स संचालकों को नई तकनीक के अनुरूप प्रशिक्षण भी दिया जाए, जिससे वे आधुनिक उपकरणों का बेहतर उपयोग कर सकें और सेवाओं की गुणवत्ता में और सुधार हो।
इस अवसर पर प्रभारी सूचनाओं विज्ञान अधिकारी अंकुश पांडे ई डिस्टिक मैनेजर हरेंद्र कुमार सहित अधिकारी एवं कॉप्स संचालक उपस्थित रहे।
