नई टिहरी 06 मार्च ।पर्यटन, साहसिक खेल, पर्यावरण और लोक संस्कृति के संदेश के साथ ‘हिमालयन 0.2 द टिहरी लेक फेस्टिवल’ का भव्य शुभारंभ हो गया। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शुक्रवार को महोत्सव का उद्घाटन करते हुए कहा कि आने वाले समय में टिहरी झील देश ही नहीं बल्कि पूरे विश्व में साहसिक खेलों और पर्यटन का प्रमुख केंद्र बनकर उभरेगी। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कोटी कालोनी-नई टिहरी रोपवे निर्माण की घोषणा भी की।
मुख्यमंत्री ने देश-विदेश से आए खिलाड़ियों और मेहमानों का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि देवभूमि उत्तराखंड आध्यात्मिकता और समृद्ध लोक संस्कृति का अद्भुत संगम है। यहां की नदियां, पर्वत, झीलें और परंपराएं विश्वभर के लोगों को आकर्षित करती रही हैं। टिहरी झील के किनारे आयोजित यह महोत्सव पर्यटन, खेल और स्थानीय संस्कृति को एक मंच पर लाने का महत्वपूर्ण प्रयास है।
उन्होंने कहा कि हिमालय की गोद में स्थित टिहरी झील प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य के साथ-साथ साहसिक खेलों के प्रमुख स्थल के रूप में तेजी से विकसित हो रही है। यहां आयोजित राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर की जल क्रीड़ा प्रतियोगिताएं खिलाड़ियों को अपनी प्रतिभा दिखाने का अवसर देने के साथ उत्तराखंड को वैश्विक खेल मानचित्र पर नई पहचान दिला रही हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार का लक्ष्य टिहरी को वाटर स्पोर्ट्स और एडवेंचर स्पोर्ट्स हब के रूप में विकसित करना है। इसके लिए झील में कयाकिंग, कैनोइंग, जेट-स्की, पैरासेलिंग, स्कूबा डाइविंग जैसी साहसिक गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है तथा आधुनिक प्रशिक्षण सुविधाएं भी विकसित की जा रही हैं।
इससे स्थानीय युवाओं को रोजगार और स्वरोजगार के अवसर भी मिल रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी का उत्तराखंड से विशेष लगाव है और उनके मार्गदर्शन में राज्य में पर्यटन व साहसिक खेलों को बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में आदि कैलाश में राज्य की पहली हाई-एल्टीट्यूड मैराथन, माणा में एमटीबी चैलेंज तथा एशियन ओपन शॉर्ट ट्रैक स्पीड स्केटिंग ट्रॉफी जैसे बड़े आयोजन सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित किए गए हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि टिहरी क्षेत्र के समग्र विकास के लिए लगभग 1300 करोड़ रुपये की विभिन्न परियोजनाओं पर कार्य चल रहा है। इनमें टिहरी झील का विकास, रिंग रोड निर्माण और तिमाड़ गांव को पर्यटन ग्राम के रूप में विकसित करना शामिल है। इसके साथ ही भिलंगना विकासखंड की सुनारगांव ग्राम पंचायत को आदर्श ग्राम के रूप में विकसित किया जा रहा है। जिले में प्लास्टिक वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट के लिए 10 कॉम्पेक्टर केंद्र और 4267 कूड़ा संग्रहण केंद्र स्थापित किए गए हैं।
इस अवसर पर कैबिनेट मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल, सांसद माला राज्य लक्ष्मी शाह, विधायक किशोर उपाध्याय, विक्रम सिंह नेगी, विनोद कंडारी, शक्तिलाल शाह, पिछड़ा वर्ग आयोग के अध्यक्ष संजय नेगी, जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष इशिता सजवाण, जिलाधिकारी नितिका खंडेलवाल सहित अनेक जनप्रतिनिधि उपस्थित रहे। मुख्यमंत्री का कार्यक्रम स्थल पर पारंपरिक देवडोलियों के साथ स्वागत किया गया।
कोटी-डोबरा पर्यटन मार्ग का वर्चुअल शिलान्यास
कार्यक्रम के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने रिमोट के माध्यम से कोटी-डोबरा पर्यटन मार्ग का वर्चुअल शिलान्यास भी किया। एशियन डेवलपमेंट बैंक से वित्तपोषित इस परियोजना की लागत लगभग 318 करोड़ रुपये है और इसकी लंबाई करीब 15 किलोमीटर होगी।
नौ मार्च तक चलेंगे कार्यक्रम
टिहरी लेक फेस्टिवल में 9 मार्च तक साहसिक खेलों, पर्यटन गतिविधियों और लोक संस्कृति से जुड़े विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया जाएगा। इसमें देश-विदेश के खिलाड़ी और पर्यटक भाग ले रहे ।
