बागेश्वर: जिलाधिकारी आशीष भटगांई की अध्यक्षता में बुधवार को जिला गंगा समिति (नमामि गंगे) की बैठक हुई। डीएम में गंगा की सहायक नदियों को स्वच्छ और प्रदूषण मुक्त रखने के लिए कई महत्वपूर्ण निर्देश अधिकारियों को दिए। गंगा की सहायक नदियों और उनमें गिरने वाले नालों को साफ व स्वच्छ रखने के लिए वृहद स्तर पर स्वच्छता अभियान चलाने के निर्देश दिए। तथा यह सुनिश्चित किया गया कि नदियों में कोई कचरा या गंदगी न जाए।

जिलाधिकारी ने ठोस और तरल अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन का उचित निस्तारण सुनिश्चित करने पर जोर दिया। समस्त नगर निकायों में डोर टू डोर कूड़े कलेक्शन को नियमित रूप से सुनिश्चित करने को कहा गया। कचरे को सैगरिगेट कर उसका उचित निस्तारण करने और आम जनता को गीले और सूखे कचरे के प्रति जागरूक करने के निर्देश दिए। नदी के आस-पास के गांवों में प्राकृतिक व जैविक खेती को बढ़ावा देने पर जोर दिया गया। प्रत्येक महीने किसानों के साथ गोष्ठी व कार्यशाला आयोजित कर उन्हें प्राकृतिक व जैविक खेती के लिए प्रेरित किया जाए।

जिलाधिकारी ने सभी संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि गंगा की सहायक नदियों की स्वच्छता और संरक्षण सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभियान तेज किए जाएं। निरन्तर नगर निकायों में स्वच्छता अभियान का आयोजन किया जाए। प्राकृतिक व जैविक खेती के लिए किसानों के साथ बैठक कर उन्हें प्रोत्साहित किया जाए।

बैठक में डीएफओ ध्रुव सिंह मर्तोलिया, ईई जल निगम वीके रवि,ईई सिंचाई केके जोशी,मुख्य कृषि अधिकारी राजेन्द्र सिंह उप्रेती सहित नगर निकायों के अधिशासी अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
