उत्तराखंड: डिजिटल अरेस्ट के स्कैम से रहे सावधान, डरा-धमका कर हो रही करोड़ों की ठगी

उत्तराखंड एसटीएफ के एसपी अंकुश मिश्रा ने जनता से अपील की है कि डिजिटल अरेस्ट एक स्कैम है, जो वर्तमान में पूरे भारत वर्ष में चल रहा है. कोई भी सीबीआई अफसर, मुम्बई क्राईम ब्रांच, साइबर क्राइम, IT या ED अफसर या कोई भी एजेंसी आपको व्हाट्सएप के माध्यम से डिजिटल अरेस्ट करने हेतु नोटिस नहीं देती है.

एसपी ने कहा कि साथ ही कोई व्यक्ति आपको फर्जी दस्तावेज, अवैध सामग्री आदि के नाम पर आपको डरा धमका रहा है या पैसों की मांग कर रहा है तो इस संबंध में STF/साइबर थानों में अपनी शिकायत दर्ज कराएं. उन्होंने कहा कि इस विषय में सभी लोग ज्यादा से ज्यादा जागरूक हों. इसके अतिरिक्त किसी भी प्रकार के लोक लुभावने अवसरों/फर्जी साइट/धनराशि दोगुना करने व टिकट बुक करने वाले अंजान लोगों के प्रलोभन में न आएं.

उन्होंने कहा कि किसी भी प्रकार के ऑनलाइन कंपनी की फ्रैंचाइजी लेने या यात्रा टिकट आदि को बुक कराने से पूर्व उक्त साइट का स्थानीय बैंक, संबंधित कंपनी आदि से पूर्ण वैरीफिकेशन और जांच पड़ताल अवश्य करा लें. गूगल से किसी भी कस्टमर केयर का नंबर सर्च न करें और शक होने पर तत्काल निकटतम पुलिस स्टेशन या साइबर क्राईम पुलिस स्टेशन से संपर्क करें.
