मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मुख्यमंत्री आवास में उच्च स्तरीय बैठक के दौरान अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि नव वर्ष के आगमन पर पर्यटकों की संख्या में वृद्धि के दृष्टिगत सुरक्षा व्यवस्था और यातायात प्रबंधन का विशेष ध्यान रखा जाय।

मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि नए वर्ष के दौरान ट्रैफिक जाम और दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए उचित यातायात प्रबंधन किया जाय । पर्यटन स्थलों पर ट्रैफिक को सुव्यवस्थित करने के लिए अतिरिक्त पुलिस बल की तैनाती की जाएगी। रात्रि में सार्वजनिक स्थानों और प्रमुख रास्तों पर सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए पुलिस बल की तैनाती बढ़ाई जाए, ताकि कोई भी अप्रिय घटना न घटे।

मुख्यमंत्री ने शराब पीकर गाड़ी चलाने, तेज गति से वाहन चलाने और अन्य यातायात नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वालों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि ट्रैफिक और सुरक्षा प्रबंधों के तहत घटनाओं पर निगरानी रखने के लिए तकनीकी उपायों का अधिकतम इस्तेमाल किया जाए।
