मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शनिवार को चमोली जनपद के नंदानगर क्षेत्र में आपदा से हुए नुकसान का जायजा लिया और प्रभावितों का हाल जाना। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि संकट की इस घड़ी में सरकार पूरी तरह से प्रभावित परिवारों के साथ खड़ी है।
इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने राहत कार्यो की समीक्षा करते हुए अधिकारियों को प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में हुए नुक़सान का विस्तृत आकलन करने के निर्देश दिए। मुख्यमंत्री ने मृतकों के परिजनों को 5-5 लाख की सहायता राशि के चेक भी प्रदान किये।
मुख्यमंत्री ने आपदा प्रभावित कुंतारी लगा फाली और कुंतारी लगा सरपाणी का स्थलीय निरीक्षण करने के साथ ही धुर्मा, मोख, कुंडी, बांसबारा और मोखमल्ला गांवों का हवाई सर्वेक्षण कर आपदा से नुकसान एवं राहत कार्यों का विस्तृत जायजा लिया। मुख्यमंत्री ने आपदा प्रभावितों से भेंट कर कहा कि आपदा की इस घड़ी में सरकार पूरी तरह से प्रभावितों की साथ खड़ी है। प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में युद्धस्तर पर राहत और बचाव कार्य संचालित किए जा रहे हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया कि जन-जीवन को जल्द सामान्य करने के लिए राहत एवं बुनियादी सुविधाओं की बहाली के कार्यों को पूरी क्षमता व तत्परता से संचालित करने में निरंतर जुटे रहें। प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में विद्युत एवं पेयजल की सुचारू आपूर्ति और सभी क्षेत्रों तक सड़क संपर्क बहाल करने के काम को प्राथकिता से पूरा किया जाय।
इस दौरान जिलाधिकारी चमोली श्री संदीप तिवारी ने आपदा से हुए नुकसान तथा राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों की जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में राहत एवं बचाव कार्य लगातार जारी है। अब तक 12 घायल व्यक्तियों को हेलीकॉप्टर के माध्यम से हायर सेंटर रेफर किया गया है, जिनमें से 01 घायल व्यक्ति को एम्स ऋषिकेश तथा 11 घायलों को मेडिकल कॉलेज श्रीनगर भेजा गया।
कुंतरी लगा फाली, सरपाणी, धुर्मा, सेरा एवं मोख में लगभग 45 भवन पूरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हुए हैं तथा 15 गौशालाएं भी नष्ट हुई हैं, वहीं इन क्षेत्रों में 08 पशु मृत एवं 40 पशु लापता बताए गए हैं। प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में विस्तृत सर्वेक्षण का कार्य गतिमान है। प्रभावित लोगों को खाद्य सामग्री, आश्रय, स्वास्थ्य एवं अन्य मूलभूत सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराई जा रही हैं।
