हरिद्वार: मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने रविवार को रुड़की में लक्ष्मीनारायण मंदिर, उत्तरी गंगनहर स्थित लक्ष्मीनारायण घाट पर आयोजित मां गंगा आरती का शुभारंभ किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने पूर्ण विधि विधान के साथ नवसंवत्सर चैत्र नवरात्रि के अवसर पर मां गंगा की आरती के शुभारंभ को मां गंगा के प्रति हमारी आस्था का प्रतीक बताया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि मां गंगा का उद्गम क्षेत्र होने के नाते गंगा की पावनता के प्रति भी हम सबको समेकित प्रयास करने होंगे।
इस अवसर पर विधायक प्रदीप बत्रा के साथ ही मंदिर समिति के सदस्य एवं स्थानीय जनता उपस्थित थी।
