मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि स्व. अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी कुशल प्रशासक, राजनीतिज्ञ एवं लोकप्रिय जन नेता के साथ महान वक्ता थे, जिन्हें समाज के सभी वर्गों के लोग सम्मान देते थे। स्व. वाजपेयी के लिए राष्ट्रहित सर्वोपरि था। अटल जी उत्तराखण्ड राज्य के प्रणेता रहे हैं, उन्होंने न केवल उत्तराखण्ड राज्य का निर्माण किया बल्कि राज्य विकास के लिए आधार भी तैयार किए।
