गदरपुर। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शुक्रवार को अपने गदरपुर-रुद्रपुर दौरे के दौरान राष्ट्रीय आपदा मोचन बल (एनडीआरएफ) बटालियन, गदरपुर का भ्रमण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने अधिकारियों और जवानों से संवाद कर आपदा प्रबंधन की तैयारियों, राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों तथा उपलब्ध संसाधनों की जानकारी ली।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड प्राकृतिक आपदाओं की दृष्टि से अत्यंत संवेदनशील राज्य है। ऐसे में एनडीआरएफ की भूमिका जनजीवन की सुरक्षा और आपदा के समय त्वरित राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों में बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार आपदा प्रबंधन तंत्र को आधुनिक, सशक्त और अधिक प्रभावी बनाने के लिए लगातार कार्य कर रही है।
उन्होंने एनडीआरएफ के अधिकारियों और जवानों के साहस, समर्पण एवं सेवा भावना की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि विपरीत परिस्थितियों में भी जवान पूरी निष्ठा और तत्परता से मानव जीवन की रक्षा करते हैं। उनका अनुशासन और कार्यशैली पूरे देश के लिए प्रेरणादायी है।
भ्रमण के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने एनडीआरएफ परिसर में पौधरोपण भी किया और पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए अधिक से अधिक वृक्ष लगाने तथा उनके संरक्षण का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि वृक्षारोपण आने वाली पीढ़ियों के सुरक्षित भविष्य की आधारशिला है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को आधुनिक तकनीक के उपयोग, नियमित प्रशिक्षण और विभिन्न एजेंसियों के बीच बेहतर समन्वय सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए, ताकि किसी भी आपदा की स्थिति में राहत एवं बचाव कार्य और अधिक प्रभावी ढंग से संचालित किए जा सकें।
