देहरादून, 7 जुलाई। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने समाज कल्याण विभाग की समीक्षा बैठक में अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि डोईवाला (देहरादून), पाइनस (नैनीताल) और सोमेश्वर (अल्मोड़ा) में निर्माणाधीन बाबू जगजीवन राम छात्रावासों का कार्य हर हाल में अक्टूबर 2026 तक पूरा किया जाए, ताकि अनुसूचित जाति के छात्र-छात्राओं को जल्द बेहतर आवासीय एवं शैक्षणिक सुविधाएं मिल सकें।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि विभाग की योजनाएं केवल वर्तमान जरूरतों को नहीं, बल्कि अगले 25 वर्षों की आवश्यकताओं और चुनौतियों को ध्यान में रखकर तैयार की जाएं। उन्होंने योजनाओं के इंटीग्रेशन, वित्तीय अनुशासन और संसाधनों के प्रभावी उपयोग पर विशेष जोर देते हुए उत्तराखंड को सुशासन का ऐसा मॉडल बनाने की बात कही, जिसे देश के अन्य राज्य भी अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित हों।
बैठक के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने मुख्यमंत्री आवास सभागार से डीबीटी (वन क्लिक) के माध्यम से समाज कल्याण विभाग की विभिन्न पेंशन योजनाओं के तहत जून 2026 की ₹145.42 करोड़ की पेंशन राशि 9,80,950 लाभार्थियों के बैंक खातों में हस्तांतरित की। इसमें केंद्र सरकार का ₹7.02 करोड़ तथा राज्य सरकार का ₹138.40 करोड़ का अंश शामिल है।
जारी की गई पेंशन राशि में वृद्धावस्था पेंशन के 6.11 लाख से अधिक लाभार्थियों को ₹91.69 करोड़, विधवा पेंशन के 2.35 लाख लाभार्थियों को ₹35.38 करोड़, दिव्यांग पेंशन के 88,787 लाभार्थियों को ₹13.32 करोड़, किसान पेंशन के 27,207 लाभार्थियों को ₹3.26 करोड़ सहित अन्य योजनाओं के लाभार्थियों को भी सहायता राशि प्रदान की गई।
मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि 60 वर्ष की आयु पूरी करते ही पात्र नागरिकों को स्वतः वृद्धावस्था पेंशन का लाभ मिलना सुनिश्चित किया जाए, ताकि उन्हें अनावश्यक प्रक्रियाओं से न गुजरना पड़े।
बैठक में बाबू जगजीवन राम छात्रावास योजना की समीक्षा करते हुए बताया गया कि इस योजना के तहत अनुसूचित जाति के छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए आधुनिक छात्रावास बनाए जा रहे हैं। केंद्र सरकार प्रति छात्र ₹3.25 लाख तक की सहायता उपलब्ध कराती है, जबकि आवश्यकता पड़ने पर राज्य सरकार अतिरिक्त राशि देकर गुणवत्तापूर्णू निर्माण सुनिश्चित करती है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार का उद्देश्य केवल योजनाएं बनाना नहीं, बल्कि ऐसी स्थायी और प्रभावी व्यवस्था विकसित करना है, जो आने वाली पीढ़ियों की आवश्यकताओं को भी पूरा करे। उन्होंने कहा कि समाज के अंतिम छोर तक सम्मान, सुरक्षा और सामाजिक सुरक्षा योजनाओं का लाभ पहुंचाना सरकार की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है।
बैठक में कैबिनेट मंत्री खजान दास, समाज कल्याण सचिव एवं विभाग के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
