उन्होंने बताया कि काशीपुर–रामनगर राजमार्ग को चार लेन में उन्नत करने के लिए 494 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की धनराशि स्वीकृत की गई है और यहां तीन किलोमीटर लंबा मिनी बाईपास भी प्रारंभ हो चुका है। इसके अलावा चार करोड़ रुपये की लागत से सहायक संभागीय परिवहन अधिकारी कार्यालय का निर्माण किया गया है तथा सात करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की लागत से काशीपुर, हरिद्वार और ऋषिकेश में ऑटोमेटेड ड्राइविंग टेस्ट ट्रैक की सुविधा भी शुरू की गई है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि लगभग 1,950 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से काशीपुर में पेयजल, सीवरेज, सड़क सुधार और सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट जैसे महत्वपूर्ण कार्य तेजी से आगे बढ़ाए जा रहे हैं। इसके साथ ही 1100 करोड़ रुपये की औद्योगिक हब परियोजना और 100 करोड़ रुपये की अरोमा पार्क परियोजना पर भी काम चल रहा है, जिससे स्थानीय अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूती मिलेगी। उन्होंने बताया कि शहर में बहुमंजिला पार्किंग और नए तहसील कार्यालय का निर्माण भी जारी है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार चैती मंदिर को मानसखण्ड कारीडोर से जोड़कर इसे एक प्रमुख सांस्कृतिक और आध्यात्मिक केंद्र के रूप में विकसित करने की दिशा में कार्य कर रही है। उनका कहना था कि काशीपुर को औद्योगिक नगर के साथ-साथ आस्था और श्रद्धा की नगरी के रूप में भी विशेष पहचान दिलाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है।
