चम्पावत, 12 मार्च ।
पुष्कर सिंह धामी के निर्देशानुसार जनपद चम्पावत में एकीकृत सैनिक कॉम्प्लेक्स के निर्माण का मार्ग प्रशस्त हो गया है। तहसील चम्पावत के ग्राम राकड़ीफुलारा में चिन्हित भूमि को सैनिक कल्याण एवं पुनर्वास विभाग, उत्तराखण्ड के नाम हस्तांतरित करने की आधिकारिक स्वीकृति प्रदान कर दी गई है।
सैनिक कल्याण अनुभाग और जिला प्रशासन की संयुक्त आख्या एवं संस्तुति के आधार पर लोक प्रयोजन के लिए कुल 0.300 हेक्टेयर भूमि सैनिक कल्याण एवं पुनर्वास विभाग को हस्तांतरित की गई है। इस भूमि पर एकीकृत सैनिक कॉम्प्लेक्स का निर्माण किया जाएगा।
प्रस्तावित कॉम्प्लेक्स के निर्माण से पूर्व सैनिकों, वीर नारियों और उनके आश्रितों को एक ही परिसर में विभिन्न सुविधाएं और पुनर्वास संबंधी सहायता उपलब्ध हो सकेगी। राज्य सरकार द्वारा सैनिकों और पूर्व सैनिकों के कल्याण के उद्देश्य से यह भूमि विभाग को उपलब्ध कराई गई है।
शासन स्तर पर विभिन्न शासनादेशों और भूवैज्ञानिक रिपोर्टों के आधार पर भूमि का चयन और हस्तांतरण की प्रक्रिया पूर्ण कर ली गई है, जिससे निर्माण कार्य शीघ्र प्रारम्भ किया जा सकेगा।
जिलाधिकारी मनीष कुमार ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार वीरभूमि के प्रहरियों और उनके परिवारों के सम्मान तथा स्वावलंबन के लिए निरंतर कार्य कर रही है। चम्पावत में बनने वाला यह एकीकृत सैनिक कॉम्प्लेक्स पूर्व सैनिकों की समस्याओं के समाधान और उनके कल्याण में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा।
