भूकंप से पहले अलर्ट जारी करने में सक्षम है ‘भूदेव मोबाइल एप’

जनपद रुद्रप्रयाग में भूकंप जैसी प्राकृतिक आपदाओं से प्रभावी बचाव एवं त्वरित प्रतिक्रिया सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में जिला प्रशासन द्वारा एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल की गई है। आमजन की सुरक्षा को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देते हुए जिला प्रशासन ने राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण द्वारा विकसित ‘भूदेव’ मोबाइल एप के व्यापक उपयोग पर विशेष ज़ोर दिया है।

जिलाधिकारी प्रतीक जैन ने बताया कि भूदेव मोबाइल एप भूकंप आने से कुछ सेकंड पूर्व अलर्ट जारी करने में सक्षम है, जिससे नागरिक समय रहते सुरक्षित स्थानों पर पहुंचकर जान-माल की संभावित क्षति को न्यूनतम कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि आधुनिक तकनीक के माध्यम से पूर्व चेतावनी प्रणाली को सशक्त बनाना आपदा प्रबंधन की दिशा में एक निर्णायक कदम है, जिससे आपदा के समय त्वरित एवं प्रभावी कार्रवाई संभव हो सकेगी।

जिलाधिकारी ने जानकारी दी कि राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण द्वारा जारी निर्देशों के क्रम में जनपद के सभी विभागाध्यक्षों एवं कार्यदायी संस्थाओं को अपने-अपने कार्यालयों में भूदेव मोबाइल एप डाउनलोड करने के निर्देश जारी कर दिए गए हैं। इसके साथ ही भूकंप एवं अन्य प्राकृतिक आपदाओं से बचाव के प्रति जन-जागरूकता बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से समस्त संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया गया है कि वे आमजनमानस को एप के उपयोग के बारे में जानकारी दें तथा अधिक से अधिक लोगों को इसे डाउनलोड करने के लिए प्रेरित करें।

जिला आपदा प्रबंधन अधिकारी रुद्रप्रयाग नंदन सिंह रजवार ने बताया कि भूदेव मोबाइल एप में भूकंपीय गतिविधियों से संबंधित दैनिक जानकारी, जियो-रेफरेंस्ड लोकेशन के साथ इंटरेक्टिव मैप, तथा आपात स्थिति में एसओएस फीचर के माध्यम से लाइव लोकेशन साझा करने जैसी महत्वपूर्ण सुविधाएं उपलब्ध हैं। ये सभी फीचर्स आपदा के समय राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों को और अधिक प्रभावी बनाने में सहायक सिद्ध होंगे।

उन्होंने जनपदवासियों से अपील की कि वे अपनी एवं अपने परिवार की सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए भूदेव मोबाइल एप को अवश्य डाउनलोड करें तथा आपदा के समय जारी होने वाले अलर्ट एवं दिशा-निर्देशों का पालन करें, ताकि किसी भी आपात स्थिति में त्वरित सहायता सुनिश्चित की जा सके।
