रुद्रप्रयाग: उत्तरी जखोली रेंज अंतर्गत धरियांज, थाती – बड़मा क्षेत्र में भालू की सक्रियता के मध्यनजर रेंज अधिकारी उत्तरी जखोली सुरेन्द्र सिंह के नेतृत्व में 18 सदसीय टीम का गठन किया गया। टीम द्वारा आस पास के क्षेत्रों में भालू की सघन निगरानी की जा रही है।
वन विभाग की टीम द्वारा ग्राम सभा धरियांज, थाती बड़मा, मुन्ना देवल में ग्रामीणों के साथ बैठक कर भालू से सावधानी हेतु जागरूकता किया गया। साथ ही महिलाओं को घास लेने हेतु अकेले न जाने हेतु हिदायत दी गयी है तथा अतिआवश्यक होने पर समूह में जाने हेतु अपील की गयी है ।
टीम द्वारा राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज सिदसौड़, राजकीय उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय दिकधार में छात्रों व शिक्षकों से संवाद कर वन्य जीव से सावधानी हेतु जागरूक किया गया तथा बच्चों को स्कूल समूह में आने हेतु कहा गया है । टीम द्वारा बच्चों को किरोड़ा से सिदसौड स्कूल वन विभाग के वाहन से पहुंचाया गया।टीम द्वारा महिलाओं को घास के लिए अकेले न जाने की हिदायत दी जा रही तथा महिलों को समूह में ही जाने हेतु अपील की जा रही है।
प्रभागीय वनाधिकारी, रुद्रप्रयाग रजत सुमन द्वारा बताया गया कि क्षेत्र में भालू की निगरानी ड्रोन से तथा 10 कैमरा ट्रैप से की जा रही है तथा टीम दिन व रात्रि में लगातार गस्त कर रही है।प्रभागीय वनाधिकारी द्वारा लोगों से अपील की गयी की घरों के आस पास की झाड़ियों साफ रहे, घरेलु कचरा को खुले में न फेंके, घरों के आस पास उजाले की उचित व्यवस्था रखे तथा लोग सावधान रहे सतर्क रहे।
