मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने प्रदेशवासियों को स्वतंत्रता दिवस की शुभकामनाएँ दीं। उन्होंने देश की आज़ादी एवं माँ भारती की रक्षा के लिए अपना सर्वोच्च बलिदान देने वाले महानायकों का स्मरण किया।
प्रदेश के धराली और अन्य क्षेत्रों में आपदा से जान गंवाने वालों को श्रद्धांजलि देते हुए उन्होंने पीड़ित परिवारों के प्रति अपनी संवेदनाएँ व्यक्त कीं। उन्होंने कहा कि आपदा से प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में पुनर्वास की व्यवस्था की जाएगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि अमर बलिदानियों के सपनों के अनुरूप देश को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में वैश्विक स्तर पर भारत की स्वीकार्यता बढ़ी है। उनके नेतृत्व में देश में अनेक ऐतिहासिक निर्णय लिए गए हैं। उत्तराखंड में नवनिर्माण और पुनर्निर्माण के कार्य तेजी से हो रहे हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड के समग्र विकास के लिए राज्य सरकार कृतसंकल्प के साथ कार्य कर रही है। आगामी 25 वर्षों की योजनाओं पर कार्य किया जा रहा है। जन सहयोग से उत्तराखंड को देश का श्रेष्ठ राज्य बनाने की दिशा में कार्य किया जा रहा है।
