ऋषिकेश: मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने रविवार को ऋषिकेश स्थित परमार्थ निकेतन में गंगा आरती कर पूजा अर्चना की। उन्होंने मां गंगा से प्रदेश में सुख, शांति और समृद्धि की कामना की। मुख्यमंत्री ने इस दौरान परमार्थ निकेतन द्वारा आयोजित अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग महोत्सव 2025 का शुभारंभ भी किया। उन्होंने 50 से अधिक देशों व भारत के अनेकों राज्यों से आए योग प्रेमियों का स्वागत किया।

मुख्यमंत्री ने देश-विदेश से आये योगी प्रेमियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि किसी भी कार्यारम्भ के लिए देवभूमि से बढ़कर पवित्र कोई स्थान नही हो सकता। उन्होंने नरेंद्र नगर में आयोजित जी-20 समिट का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि उस दौरान दुनिया के विभिन्न देशों से आए मेहमान देवभूमि के अध्यात्म और योग का अनुभव साथ लेकर गए हैं। योग नगरी ऋषिकेश ने भारत ही नहीं अपितु दुनियाभर में अपनी पहचान बनाई है, यही कारण है कि ऋषिकेश दुनियाभर के योग और शांति प्रेमी लोगो की पहली पसंदीदा जगह बन गया है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने हर्षिल में प्रधानमंत्री जी के भ्रमण के जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि अब उत्तराखंड राज्य में शीत काल में भी पर्यटक आएंगे। प्रधानमंत्री जी ने पूरे देश के लोगों से शीतकाल के समय में उत्तराखंड आने का आग्रह किया है। उन्होंने कहा प्रधानमंत्री जी ने उत्तराखंड में घाम तापो पर्यटन को भी बढ़ावा देने की बात है। मुख्यमंत्री ने देश-विदेश के पर्यटकों को आगामी कुंभ व नंदा राजजात यात्रा के लिए भी आमंत्रित किया।

इस अवसर पर परमार्थ के स्वामी चिदानंद मुनि महाराज, जिलाधिकारी आशीष चौहान, अपर जिलाधिकारी अनिल गर्ब्याल, साध्वी भगवती सरस्वती सही देश-विदेश से आए पर्यटक उपस्थित थे।
