प्राकृतिक आपदा से प्रभावित चुकुम गांव और आंशिक अमरपुर को विस्थापित करने के लिए प्रस्ताव को अंतिम रूप दे दिया गया है। इसी क्रम में जिलाधिकारी वंदना सिंह ने बुधवार को कलेक्ट्रेट सभागार नैनीताल में सम्बंधित अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक कर प्रस्ताव पर विस्तृत चर्चा की ।

बताया कि पुर्नवास हेतु नवीन पुनर्वास नीति 2021 के तहत ग्राम चुकुम एवं आंशिक अमरपुर के निवासरत परिवारों के लिए को आमपोखरा में शिफ्ट करने का प्रस्ताव तैयार किया गया है, प्रस्तावित भूमि का भूगर्भीय निरीक्षण करने के बाद जिला आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण की संस्तुति के साथ ही शासन को प्रस्ताव जल्द ही प्रेषित किया जाएगा।

बता दें कि आपदाग्रस्त गांव चुकुम, आंशिक अमरपुर का भी विस्थापन का प्रस्ताव तहसील स्तर से पूर्ण हो चुका था।इन सभी के लिए आम पोखरा में भूमि प्रस्तावित की गई है। उक्त ग्राम हाथी कॉरिडोर के अंतर्गत भी प्रभावित होने के कारण विस्थापन हेतु प्रस्तावित हैं ।

एसडीएम रामनगर राहुल शाह ने बताया कि चुकुम में पूर्व में हुए सर्वे के अनुसार 97 परिवार मूल रुप से निवासरत पाये गए, जिसमें 45 परिवार अनु जाति और 52 परिवार सामान्य जाति के हैं। जिसमें अनु जाति के 22 परिवार के नाम चुकुम जबकि सामान्य में 8 परिवार के नाम कोई भूमि दर्ज नहीं है। ये परिवार राज्य सरकार के भूमि पर काबिज है।

आंशिक अमरपुर में कुल 39 परिवार निवासरत है। जिसमें अनु जाति के 11 और सामान्य जाति के 28 परिवार हैं। जिसमें अनु जाति के 9 परिवार और सामान्य जाति के 28 परिवार के नाम कोई भूमि राजस्व अभिलेखों में दर्ज नहीं और राज्य सरकार की भूमि पर काबिज हैं।

बताया कि प्राकृतिक आपदा से प्रभावित परिवार के पुनर्वास/विस्थापन हेतु वर्तमान में नवीन पुनर्वास नीति 2021 के अन्तर्गत प्रस्ताव तैयार कर शासन को प्रेषित किया जाएगा। बैठक में संयुक्त मजिस्ट्रेट वरुणा अग्रवाल, अपर ज़िलाधिकारी पी आर चौहान, उप ज़िलाधिकारी रामनगर राहुल शाह सहित अन्य मौजूद रहे।
