देहरादून, 14 जनवरी 2025: 38वें राष्ट्रीय खेल से पहले माननीय खेल और महिला एवं बाल कल्याण मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने मकर संक्रांति के अवसर पर राजकीय शिशु सदन और राजकीय बालिका निकेतन, देहरादून के बच्चों को राजीव गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्टेडियम में आमंत्रित कर उनके साथ हर्षोल्लास से मकर संक्रांति का त्योहार मनाया।
खेल मंत्री ने स्वयं बच्चों के लिए मकर संक्रांति की पारंपरिक खिचड़ी पकाई और परोसी। उन्होंने बच्चों के साथ पतंग उड़ाई और पिट्ठू खेला, जिससे पूरे आयोजन में उत्साह और आनंद का माहौल बना। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य त्योहार मनाना और बच्चों को खेलों के प्रति प्रेरित करना और खेलों के माहौल से जोड़ना था।
इस अवसर पर रेखा आर्या ने कहा, “यह स्टेडियम आने वाले नेशनल गेम्स का आयोजन स्थल है। मैं चाहती थी कि शिशु सदन और बालिका निकेतन के बच्चे इस बड़े आयोजन से जुड़ें और देखें कि कैसे खिलाड़ी इतने बड़े मैदान पर खेलते हैं।”
उन्होंने आगे कहा, “मकर संक्रांति से शुभ दिनों की शुरुआत होती है, और दिन लंबे हो जाते हैं और मैं चाहती हूँ की बच्चे इन दिनों की शुरुआत खेलते हुए करें।”
कार्यक्रम के बाद, खेल मंत्री ने नेशनल गेम्स की तैयारियों का जायजा लिया और खिलाड़ियों के लिए अपनी शुभकामनाएं व्यक्त कीं। उन्होंने कहा, “उत्तरायणी के इस शुभ अवसर पर मैं सभी खिलाड़ियों को शुभकामनाएं देती हूं। मुझे विश्वास है कि जब वे यहां आएंगे, तो देवभूमि उत्तराखंड से जुड़ाव बना पाएंगे। अब तक उत्तराखंड को सैन्यभूमि और देवभूमि के नाम से जाना जाता था, अब इसे खेलभूमि के नाम से भी पहचाना जाएगा।”
इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देने और बच्चों के समग्र विकास के लिए किया गया।
