नैनीताल : जिलाधिकारी ने शुक्रवार को ठंडी सड़क पर सिंचाई विभाग द्वारा किए जा रहे सुरक्षात्मक कार्य और प्राधिकरण द्वारा किए जा रहे रेलिंग आदि के कार्यों का निरीक्षण किया, उसके बाद तल्लीताल बाजार में हो रहे सौंदर्यीकरण कार्यों का निरीक्षण कर आवश्यक दिशा निर्देश दिये। तल्लीताल बाज़ार के मुख्य द्वार पर लाइटिंग की व्यवस्था करने के लिए आरईएस, यूपीसीएल के अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया तथा शीघ्र तल्लीताल बाजार में यूटिलिटी शिफ्टिंग का कार्य पूर्ण कर फिनिशिंग के लिए निर्देशित किया। उन्होंने कहा तल्लीताल बाजार में स्ट्रीट लाइट की भी व्यवस्था की जाएगी।

जिलाधिकारी ने अधिशासी अधिकारी नैनीताल दीपक गोस्वामी को तल्लीताल स्थित पोस्ट ऑफिस से लेकर बस स्टैंड तक के क्षेत्र की सर्वे कर मैपिंग करने के निर्देश दिए, ताकि स्थान उपलब्धता के अनुसार नैनीताल में सार्वजनिक परिवहन हेतु पिक अप और ड्रॉप की सुचारू व्यवस्था बनाई जा सके,

डीएम वंदना ने सिंचाई विभाग द्वारा ठंडी सड़क में किए जा रहे सुरक्षात्मक कार्यों को मार्च तक पूर्ण करने के लिए निर्देशित किया। सचिव प्राधिकरण द्वारा बताया गया कि ठंडी सड़क पर प्राधिकरण द्वारा रेलिंग का कार्य किया जाना है, जिसमें सिंचाई विभाग के गतिमान कार्य के कारण कुछ समस्याएं आ रही थीं जिनका समाधान कर लिया गया है और कार्य को शीघ्र करने के निर्देश सचिव प्राधिकरण को निर्देशित किया। इसके अलावा ठंडी सड़क पर पर्यटन विभाग द्वारा लाइटिंग का कार्य किया जाना है, उसके लिए पूर्व से लगाई गई लाइटिंग में हो रही समस्याओं को ठीक करवाने के बाद ही आगे की कार्यवाही किए जाने और स्थानीय जनता के सुझाव लेने के निर्देश दिए।

लोक निर्माण विभाग द्वारा तल्लीताल में जंक्शन के सुधारीकरण का कार्य किया जा रहा है, जिसमें बाउंड्री आदि का कार्य लगभग पूर्ण हो गया है। रोटरी की फिनिशिंग जारी है, जिलाधिकारी ने यहां रेडियम स्ट्रिप और लाइटिंग की उचित व्यवस्था करने के निर्देश दिये।

जिलाधिकारी ने नैनीताल में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए शटल सेवा और प्लान तैयार करने के लिए संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया। जिलाधिकारी ने कहा टैक्सी और बाइक के लिए पार्किंग की व्यवस्था के लिए व्यापार मंडल व स्थानीय लोगों द्वारा अच्छा सुझाव दिया गया है जिन पर रूपरेखा तैयार कर शीघ्र कार्य करने के लिए निर्देशित किया गया है। साथ ही नगर पालिका द्वारा वेंडिंग जोन बनाए जाने का प्रस्ताव भी गतिमान है ।

बाइक टैक्सी हेतु भी SOP लगभग तैयार हो गई है । इन सभी परियोजनाओं पर शीघ्र कार्य किया जाना है । भ्रमण के दौरान जिलाधिकारी ने स्थानीय व्यापारियों से बातचीत कर गतिमान कार्यों के संबंध में उनका फीडबैक भी लिया ।

इस दौरान सचिव प्राधिकरण विजय नाथ शुक्ल, उपजिलाधिकारी नैनीताल, अधिशासी अभियंता लोनिवि, अधिशासी अधिकारी नैनीताल, विद्युत विभाग सहित संबंधित अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
