देहरादून/नई दिल्ली 27 अप्रैल ।मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने नई दिल्ली स्थित उत्तराखण्ड निवास में सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में व्यापार, आवागमन और आधारभूत ढांचे के सुदृढ़ीकरण को लेकर समीक्षा बैठक की। इस दौरान उन्होंने लैंड पोर्ट्स अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया के अध्यक्ष जयंत सिंह और अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के साथ विभिन्न परियोजनाओं की प्रगति पर चर्चा की।

बैठक में मुख्यमंत्री ने बनबसा (गुदमी) क्षेत्र में भारत-नेपाल सीमा पर निर्माणाधीन आधुनिक लैंड पोर्ट परियोजना की प्रगति की जानकारी ली। इस परियोजना को एशियन हाईवे से जोड़ने की योजना है, जिससे अंतरराष्ट्रीय कनेक्टिविटी को और अधिक मजबूती मिलेगी।

इसके अलावा मुख्यमंत्री ने धारचूला और झूलाघाट जैसे सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में सीमा व्यापार, आवागमन और आधारभूत सुविधाओं को बेहतर बनाने से जुड़े विभिन्न विषयों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की।

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि विकास कार्यों को स्थानीय आवश्यकताओं और जनहित को प्राथमिकता देते हुए आगे बढ़ाया जाए। इससे स्थानीय उत्पादों को बेहतर बाजार मिलेगा, क्षेत्रीय अर्थव्यवस्था मजबूत होगी और सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में रोजगार के नए अवसर सृजित होंगे।

उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में स्थानीय निवासियों की सुविधा के लिए चल रहे कार्यों को समयबद्ध और सुव्यवस्थित ढंग से पूरा किया जाए, ताकि व्यापारिक गतिविधियों को गति मिलने के साथ ही आम लोगों को भी बेहतर सुविधाएं मिल सकें।
