देहरादून: जनपद देहरादून में बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा द्वारा एक बुजुर्ग विधवा कमलेश तथा उनकी नामिनी असहाय पुत्री प्रीति को अनावश्यक रूप से प्रताड़ित करने तथा बीमित ऋण पर क्लेम प्राप्त होने के बावजूद अतिरिक्त धनराशि जमा कराने के मामले में जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल के हस्तक्षेप से पीड़िता को न्याय मिला है। जिला प्रशासन द्वारा त्वरित संज्ञान लेते हुए बैंक की 3.30 लाख की आरसी काटी गई, जिसके उपरांत बैंक ने 24 घंटे के भीतर 3.30 लाख रुपये का चेक नामिनी पुत्री प्रीति के नाम जारी कर दिया।
विगत दिवस जिलाधिकारी कार्यालय कक्ष में प्रीति सिंह ने अपनी व्यथा सुनाते हुए बताया कि उनके पिता स्व0 राजेन्द्र पाल ने वर्ष 2023 में बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा से रू0 13 लाख का ऋण लिया था। बैंक अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों के कहने पर ऋण को सुरक्षित करने के लिए इसका बीमा कराया गया। वर्ष 2023 से अप्रैल 2025 तक उनके पिता द्वारा रू0 22,295 प्रतिमाह की नियमित किस्तें जमा की गईं। अप्रैल 2025 में उनके पिता का निधन हो गया, जिसकी सूचना तत्काल बैंक और बीमा कंपनी को दे दी गई। जून 2025 में बीमा कंपनी द्वारा ऋण क्लेम की राशि बैंक में जमा कर दी गई। इसके बावजूद बैंक द्वारा न तो नो ड्यूज सर्टिफिकेट जारी किया जा रहा था, बल्कि प्रीति सिंह पर रू0 3,30,980 अतिरिक्त जमा कराने का दबाव बनाया जा रहा था, तथा सम्पति को जबरन जब्त करने की धमकी दी जा रही थी।
जिलाधिकारी का हस्तक्षेप पीड़िता की शिकायत सुनने के बाद जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल ने मामले को गंभीरता से लेते हुए उप जिलाधिकारी (न्याय) कुमकुम जोशी को तत्काल जांच एवं आवश्यक कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए। जिला प्रशासन द्वारा जांच में पाया गया कि बीमा क्लेम राशि प्राप्त होने के बाद भी बैंक द्वारा अनुचित रूप से धनराशि की मांग की जा रही थी। इस पर बैंक की रू0 3,30,980 की आरसी काटी गई। आरसी कटते ही बैंक ने 24 घंटे के भीतर नामिनी प्रीति सिंह के नाम 3.30 लाख रुपये का चेक जारी कर दिया, जिसे आज जिलाधिकारी द्वारा प्रीति सिंह को सौंप दिया गया।
जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल ने कहा कि किसी भी नागरिक के साथ वित्तीय संस्थान द्वारा की जाने वाली मनमानी और अनुचित व्यवहार बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा। जनपद प्रशासन हर पीड़ित व्यक्ति की शिकायत का त्वरित समाधान सुनिश्चित करता रहेगा।” तथा भविष्य में भी इस प्रकार के मामलो पर कठौर एक्शन लिया जाएगा।
