मुख्य सचि आनन्द बर्द्धन की अध्यक्षता में आगामी कांवड़ मेले को सरल, सुखद व सुरक्षित संपन्न कराने हेतु इंटरस्टेट समन्वय समिति की बैठक सीसीआर सभागार हरिद्वार में संपन्न हुई। जिसमें उत्तराखंड, उत्तर प्रदेश, हरियाणा, दिल्ली तथा राजस्थान के उच्चाधिकारियों द्वारा ऑफलाइन व ऑनलाइन माध्यम से प्रतिभाग किया गया।
इस अवसर पर मुख्य सचिव आनन्द बर्द्धन ने कहा कि कांवड़ मेला आस्था एवं श्रद्धा का बहुत बड़ा उत्सव है। उन्होंने कहा कि कांवड़ यात्रा सकुशल एवम् सफलता पूर्वक सम्पन्न कराने हेतु जिला प्रशासन, पुलिस एवं अन्य सम्बन्धित विभाग चाक चौबंद व्यवस्थाएं सुनिश्चित की जाएं। उन्होंने सभी राज्यों से रियल टाइम कॉर्डिनेशन व रियल टाइम डाटा साझा किए जाने की बात भी कही। सुरक्षात्मक दृष्टि से सभी आवश्यक इनपुट्स साझा किए जाएं।
मुख्य सचिव ने कांवड़ मेले की व्यवस्थाओं में आधुनिक तकनीक का ज्यादा से ज्यादा उपयोग किए जाने पर बल दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि आगामी कुंभ मेले को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए सभी तैयारियों को अंजाम दिया जाए ताकि मेले के अनुभव कुंभ में भी काम आएं।
मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि कांवड़ मेले के दौरान कानून व्यवस्था एवं यातायात व्यवस्था के लिए चाक चौबंद व्यवस्थाएं सुनिश्चित की जाएं। उन्होंने आवश्यकता पड़ने पर भेल पार्किंग का भी उपयोग किए जाने के निर्देश भी जिला प्रशासन को दिए। यात्रा मार्ग पर स्थित ढाबों और होटलों में सुरक्षा मानकों का अनुपालन हो, साथ ही रेट लिस्ट अनिवार्य रूप से चस्पा की जाए।

बैठक में सचिव गृह श्री शैलेश बगौली ने कहा कि यात्रा पर आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं को किसी भी प्रकार की समस्या न हो, यातायात व्यवस्था सरल सुगम व सुरक्षित हो तथा श्रद्धालुओं की सहूलियतों को ध्यान में रखते हुए सभी तैयारियां सुनिश्चित की जाएं। जिलाधिकारी मयूर दीक्षित तथा एसएसपी प्रमेंद्र सिंह डोबाल ने कांवड़ यात्रा अवधि, विभिन्न राज्यों से आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं का प्रतिशत, ट्रैफिक मैनेजमेंट प्लान, सोशल मीडिया मॉनिटरिंग सहित कांवड़ यात्रा हेतु की जा रही तैयारियों का पावर प्वाइंट प्रेजेंटेशन के माध्यम से विस्तार से जानकारी दी। उत्तर प्रदेश की ओर से डीआईजी अभिषेक ने यात्रा प्लान सहित चल रही तैयारियों की विस्तार से जानकारी दी।
