शौर्य महोत्सव में बोले सीएम धामी-शहीदों का सम्मान हमारा कर्तव्य

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शुक्रवार को थराली के चेपड़ों गांव में अशोक चक्र विजेता शहीद भवानी दत्त जोशी की स्मृति में आयोजित शौर्य महोत्सव में प्रतिभाग किया। उन्होंने दीप प्रज्ज्वलित कर कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया और शहीद स्मारक पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजलि दी। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने पौधारोपण भी किया।

मुख्यमंत्री ने घोषणा की कि शहीद भवानी दत्त जोशी की स्मृति में आयोजित शौर्य मेले को राजकीय मेले के रूप में मनाया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि शहीद स्मारक के सौंदर्यीकरण के लिए धनराशि भी उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी।

मुख्यमंत्री ने शहीद भवानी दत्त जोशी को नमन करते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने ऑपरेशन ब्लू स्टार में अपना सर्वोच्च बलिदान दिया। भारत सरकार ने उन्हें मरणोपरांत अशोक चक्र से सम्मानित किया। यह हम सबके लिए गर्व का विषय है कि हमें उनके सम्मान में आयोजित मेले में शामिल होने का अवसर मिला।

थराली विधानसभा क्षेत्र में निर्माणाधीन पुल गिरने की घटना पर नाराजगी जताते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह घोर लापरवाही है। इसके लिए तीन इंजीनियरों को तत्काल सस्पेंड किया गया है ।

कार्यक्रम में मुख्यमंत्री ने शहीद सतीश चंद्र के पिता महेशानंद, शहीद कृपा सिंह की पत्नी विमला देवी, शहीद हिम्मत सिंह के भाई अभय सिंह नेगी और श्रीमती सरोजनी कोटड़ी को सम्मानित किया।

विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्रीमती ऋतु खंडूड़ी भूषण ने कहा कि प्रदेश में सिर्फ इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर ही नहीं, नीतियों में भी बदलाव हो रहे हैं। फिर चाहे वह समान नागरिक संहिता (ucc) हो, नकल विरोधी कानून हो या महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण के प्रयास।

इस अवसर पर राज्य मंत्री बलवीर घुनियाल, हरक सिंह नेगी, मेला अध्यक्ष बीरू जोशी, ले. कर्नल हरीश जोशी, विधायक भूपाल राम टमटा, जिलाधिकारी संदीप तिवारी, पुलिस अधीक्षक सर्वेश पंवार, सीडीओ अभिषेक त्रिपाठी, एसडीएम पंकज भट्ट सहित बड़ी संख्या में स्थानीय लोग मौजूद रहे।
