प्रदेश में विद्युत दरों में मिल रही सब्सिडी का दुरुपयोग करने वाले और गलत ढंग से सब्सिडी लेने वाले उपभोक्ताओं पर गाज गिरेगी। ऐसे उपभोक्ताओं से सब्सिडी की दोगुना राशि वसूल की जाएगी। राज्य मंत्रिमंडल ने बुधवार को यह निर्णय लिया।
प्रदेश के घरेलू श्रेणी के लगभग 11.50 लाख विद्युत उपभोक्ताओं को गत सितंबर माह से दी गई राहत पर बुधवार को राज्य मंत्रिमंडल ने भी मुहर लगा दी। हिमाच्छादित क्षेत्रों में 200 यूनिट मासिक उपभोग करने वाले और अन्य क्षेत्रों के एक किलोवाट विद्युत भार वाले ऐसे उपभोक्ता, जो 100 यूनिट तक विद्युत का मासिक उपभोग करते हैं, उन्हें विद्युत दरों में 50 प्रतिशत सब्सिडी दी गई है।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने गत 16 सितंबर को अपने जन्मदिन के अवसर पर इस संबंध में घोषणा की थी। मुख्यमंत्री के विचलन से लिए गए इस निर्णय को शासन ने 10 दिन के भीतर ही क्रियान्वित करते हुए 24 सितंबर को आदेश जारी किया। सब्सिडी एक सितंबर, 2024 से की गई विद्युत खपत के लिए अनुमन्य है।
