देहरादून। जिलाधिकारी एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी डॉ. आशीष चौहान ने विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण (एसआईआर) अभियान के तहत सहसपुर विधानसभा क्षेत्र के विभिन्न मतदान केंद्रों का निरीक्षण कर दावे एवं आपत्तियों के निस्तारण के लिए लगाए गए विशेष शिविरों की व्यवस्थाओं का जायजा लिया। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को प्रत्येक आवेदन का समयबद्ध, पारदर्शी और निष्पक्ष निस्तारण सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए।
निरीक्षण के दौरान डीएम ने बूथ लेवल अधिकारियों (बीएलओ) से प्राप्त दावों और आपत्तियों, उनके सत्यापन तथा अभिलेखों के रखरखाव की जानकारी ली। उन्होंने कहा कि कोई भी पात्र मतदाता मतदाता सूची में शामिल होने से वंचित नहीं रहना चाहिए और सभी आवेदन निर्वाचन आयोग के दिशा-निर्देशों के अनुसार तय समय में निस्तारित किए जाएं।
उन्होंने कहा कि विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण अभियान निर्वाचन प्रक्रिया की विश्वसनीयता का महत्वपूर्ण आधार है। इसलिए सभी अधिकारी पूरी जिम्मेदारी के साथ कार्य करें और मतदाता सूची के पुनरीक्षण में पूर्ण पारदर्शिता बनाए रखें।
डीएम ने बूथों पर आवश्यक प्रपत्र और सुविधाएं उपलब्ध रखने, वरिष्ठ नागरिकों, दिव्यांगजनों और महिलाओं को प्राथमिकता देने तथा मतदाताओं को दावे एवं आपत्तियां दर्ज कराने की प्रक्रिया की पूरी जानकारी उपलब्ध कराने के निर्देश भी दिए।
निरीक्षण के दौरान नगर मजिस्ट्रेट राकेश तिवारी, निर्वाचन से जुड़े अधिकारी, सेक्टर मजिस्ट्रेट, बूथ लेवल अधिकारी (बीएलओ) और अन्य कर्मचारी मौजूद रहे।
