देहरादून। पश्चिमी एशिया में जारी युद्ध और वैश्विक परिस्थितियों के बीच प्रदेश के कृषि मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने सोमवार को ईंधन बचत का संदेश दिया। मंत्री ने शासकीय वाहन का उपयोग न करते हुए स्कूटी से अपने कैंप कार्यालय पहुंचकर आमजन को पेट्रोल-डीजल बचाने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
गढ़ी कैंट में आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम के बाद मंत्री गणेश जोशी दो पहिया वाहन से कैंप कार्यालय पहुंचे। इस दौरान उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान वैश्विक परिस्थितियों में प्रत्येक नागरिक की जिम्मेदारी है कि वह संसाधनों का संयमित उपयोग करे और अनावश्यक ईंधन खपत से बचे।
उन्होंने प्रदेशवासियों से अपील की कि छोटी दूरी के लिए यथासंभव दो पहिया वाहन, सार्वजनिक परिवहन या साझा वाहन का उपयोग करें। इससे पेट्रोल-डीजल की बचत होने के साथ पर्यावरण संरक्षण में भी मदद मिलेगी।
मंत्री ने कहा कि वह स्वयं भी स्थानीय कार्यक्रमों और निकट दूरी के दौरों में अधिकतम दो पहिया वाहन का उपयोग करेंगे, ताकि समाज में सादगी और ईंधन बचत का सकारात्मक संदेश जाए।
उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा संसाधनों के विवेकपूर्ण उपयोग का जो संदेश दिया गया है, वह केवल आर्थिक दृष्टि से ही नहीं बल्कि पर्यावरण और आने वाली पीढ़ियों के हित में भी बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है।
