उत्तराखंड में पिछले तीन दिनों से बारिश और ओलावृष्टि का क्रम जारी है। मौसम का बदला मिजाज और पर्वतीय क्षेत्र के लिए आफत बन रहा है। वहीं आज उत्तरकाशी, चमोली, रुद्रप्रयाग, टिहरी, बागेश्वर, अल्मोड़ा और पिथौरागढ़ में ओलावृष्टि होने की संभावना है।
लगभग 40 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से तेज हवा भी चल सकती है। देहरादून, पौड़ी, नैनीताल और चंपावत में आकाशीय बिजली चमकने के साथ ही कहीं-कहीं अधिकतम 50 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से अंधड़ चलने का ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया गया है।
उत्तराखंड में पिछले तीन दिनों से ओलावृष्टि और अंधड़ चलने के कारण खड़ी फसलों को काफी नुकसान पहुंचा है। आकाशीय बिजली गिरने से बागेश्वर के कपकोट में 27 बकरियों की मौत हो गई है।
वही लगातार हो रही बारिश के कारण भूस्खलन होने से जगह-जगह मार्ग क्षतिग्रस्त हो गए हैं। पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में बारिश और ओलावृष्टि से मौसम में ठंडक लौट आई है। मैदानी क्षेत्रों में भी गर्मी से फिलहाल राहत मिली है। पहाड़ से लेकर मैदान तक बादल मंडा रहे हैं। कई स्थानों पर गरज चमक के साथ ओलावृष्टि और तीव्र बौछार पड़ रही है।
